He was a surgeon with specialisation in biological researches.
During the Second World War he was sent to Pinerolo as medical lieutenant. There he met Miss Lida Toscano whom he wedded in 1947. Of them was born the daughter Suzy. She grew healthy and intelligent and she frequented the best schools in Verona, but her health was undetermined by a very rare illness that caused her death at the age of 26.
In her memory the father decided to “invest their goods for paradise”, by helping the Stigmatine Missions. Few months before her death, Suzy had told her parents that she had dreamed to go all over the world to help all poor peoples.
