He spent all his life among the young people, in our Marian Oratories, boarding houses and colleges. He was very good in music with which he could uplift the youth gatherings. He was diligently and sensibly engaged in the sacred ministry.
From 1969 he lived in San Leonardo in Verona as an associate in the Mission Office.
During the last years of his life he was afflicted with a serious disease: he had to often visit the hospital for special treatments. There was no remedy for that, though some hope was dawning at the end. But he was suddenly hit by bronchial pneumonia and his weak physical constitution gave in. At his death bed a confrere was present together with the chaplain who ministered to him the sacrament of anointing.
