He was a humble and reserved person and he inherited from his parents a deep faith and a generous charity. He spent many years in the formation of our candidates and gained the respect and affection from everybody. He dedicated the last years of his life to the parish ministry in Palmeira, Morrinhos, Campinas, Praia Grande and as a missionary in several parts of Brazil. He loved all people entrusted to him: he shared with them joy and prayer, for them he worked and suffered. He was rewarded by their love and care. His visit in the families was considered a blessing from the Lord by the parishioners. He was suddenly struck by a chronic kidney infection and suffered a lot during the last months of his life.
