He was an assistant priest in our parishes and a bursar in different communities. He was superior in Trento during the second world war. He showed his best qualities in Pavia (1949-1968), where he founded the new parish of the Holy Family. He managed to face many difficulties with courage and perseverance, before building the first temporary church, the house and boarding house, and finally the large new church. He had a great pastoral influence on everybody. He was much admired by the bishop and was able to organise the parish in an exemplary way. At his death he was very much missed.
