He was director of our oratories of Verona, Udine and Rome; and also chaplain of the Boy Scouts of Verona. He was also superior in Parma until 1929 when he obtained to leave for the mission in China. From 1934 he was religious Visitator of that Mission.
He died in Beijing where our missionaries were refugees after the destruction of our mission by the communist army. He was buried in the Catholic cemetery of Shalà, near the tomb of Fr Matteo Ricci.
