GIULIO TALLER (brother)

BIRTH:

Cles, TN – 25.01.1908

ENTERED.

Verona – 1937

FIRST PROFESSION:

1939

DEATH:

Verona (S. Leonardo) – 31.01.1982

AGE: 74

He knew the Stigmatines in Cles (TN) and Milan through Fr Pio Gabos. In  Milan he got engaged but then he left his fiancée to follow a better vocation. He was a novice in St Andrea in Affi (VR) with Fr Beniamino Miori.

He lived for a short while in Verona and in Milan, Santa Croce. His longest period of residence was in Battipaglia (SA). He served in all places as sacristan diligently and ceaselessly. He was generous with everybody: his companion was the broom and his consolation the Rosary beads. In San Leonardo, in a wheel chair, he kept on praying the rosary and watching the Sunday Mass on TV. He died with tranquillity early in the morning, as early in the morning he used to  get up every day of his life.
