Following a sermon on the vanity of the world he decided to enter the Stimate together with his same age friend Luigi Ferrari. They both came from the same village. He served the Lord for many years as a porter and sacristan. He took great care of the tidiness of the church, and had great capacity of encouraging people to do good works.
