He exercised his ministry for a short time in Italy and in 1913 he was sent to USA. He worked for the Italian Immigrants in all our parishes and residences, but in White Plains (NY) he resided for the longest period. In October 1963, after 50 years of intense work, he retired to the minor seminary in Wellesley. He underwent an operation as a consequence of a fall. He offered his suffering for the souls in Purgatory, whose devotion he had always spread.
