After his priestly ordination he exercised his ministry in Milan (S. Croce). Then he went to Ortonovo (La Spezia) where he was Abbot-parish priest for three years. After the closing down of that foundation he was chosen as director of the “Bertoni Missionary Association” which had its headquarters in Rome, St Agatha.
In 1932 he left for the mission of China together with two of our students. For ten years he worked assiduously in serving the Chinese of several districts. He was not deterred by the difficulties of the Japanese war. He died of a heart attack.
