He was a young man with an enthusiastic character and he desired to go on foreign missions to spread the Gospel to those who do not know it. He prepared himself for this by studying foreign languages during his formation studies. After his ordination he manifested availability for any kind of ministry. Unfortunately he was infected with TB and had to abandon his ideals. He died a holy death in the community of Trento, which had just been opened.
