He entered at 15 years of age. He was elected rector of the Church of St Martin in Trento in 1880. He restored it, he refurbished it and provided sacred vestments. He dedicated himself with zeal in aid of the sick during the small-pox epidemic of 1884. He contracted pneumonia, and after asking for the last sacraments, he died receiving the reward of the good servants of the Lord.
