As a student in Rome he discovered to have TB, which eventually brought him to death. He was assistant and Spiritual Director of our students, first in Rome and afterwards in Verona. He dedicated all his energies and heart to this task. In 1955 he was hospitalised in the sanatorium for the Clergy, in Arco (TN). During his illness he gave to everybody a great example of acceptance of the will of God.
