He worked in almost all the Brazilian communities. He was chosen as prefect of the aspirants, teacher, assistant priest, parish priest and missionary.  He enjoyed each and every one of his activities. He visited the sick and the prisoners. With the latter he used to spend time in entertaining them and making them laugh.

During the last four years of his life his heart became progressively weak. Not his will for work, though.  He used to repeat: “Better 15 days of work than 15 of idleness”.
