He entered in Trento in 1931, and he continued his formation and theological studies in Verona until his ordination in 1943. From 1944 to 1950 he obtained a degree in mathematics and physics.

His activity as a zealous son of Bertoni saw him in all our different fields of apostolate in the Italian province. He was a brilliant and extremely clear professor in our schools of Verona, Udine and Ferrara in different periods. He was also for a short period superior of the house of formation in San Leonardo.

He was a solicitous pastor especially in the parish of the Holy Family in Pavia (1969-1977), parochial vicar in the parish of the Stimmate in Parma and parish priest of  St John the Evangelist parish in Catania (Sicily).

But finally, the great passion of Fr Lino were the foreign missions especially in Ivory Coast, where he used to spend his summer vacations. He left a visible mark of his charity in numerous churches and crèches which have been built on his personal initiative in the area of Ayamé (Ivory Coast).
