He came from our parish of S. Croce in Rome, where his family had emigrated from Genoa. He had an open and cheerful character. He was successful, and loved especially by the youth with whom he worked always in Battipaglia, Rome, Trento, Rieti, Poggiomarino. He managed to inspire in everybody joy and healthy cheerfulness, while reserving to himself and his Lord his own suffering.
Because of serious azotaemia and chronic nephrosis he had to leave Poggiomarino and retire to Rome, where he died.
