He was an adult when he joined our Institute in 1950. He made his first profession in 1953. He was rather weak in health and therefore he was assigned light services. He was an assistant cook in Springfield, Wellesley, Washington, Waltham and Waterville until. In the simplicity of his life he offered himself continuously to the service of other confreres in Pittsfield and Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.
From 1972, for more than twenty years he worked in the library of Woodbridge (VA). When his health gave in, he retired to St Joseph’s Hall in Waltham, giving to everybody the example of a religious of sincere piety and solid faith.
