RAIMONDO DALLA PORTA (priest)

AGE: 83

While in Italy he was assigned to the communities of Pistoia and Gemona. In Pistoia he frequented the conservatory of Florence and obtained the diploma in piano. He always loved music and he became a skilful organist and choir director.

He left for the USA in 1912 and for the following 50 years he was engaged in our parishes as co-operator, parish priest and superior. He was always tirelessly active until few months before his death.

His great contribution was in building and restoring churches. He was brother of Fr Antonio Dalla Porta.
