He completed his secondary school studies, some in Verona and some in Pistoia. He did his novitiate in Pistoia.  Upon his return to Verona he had to enter military service for twenty months.

After coming back from military service he was sent to Brazil where he studied theology in Rio Claro and was ordained in Campinas.

During the first years of priesthood he was assigned to the formation of our aspirants, then he passed through several communities as assistant parish priest and local superior.  He remained in Brazil for 37 years.

In 1961 he returned to Italy because of poor health. He dedicated himself to pastoral work in the parish of Battipaglia with all his strength.

After five years he had to give up and retire to San Leonardo in Verona, where he died after one year.

He kept a strong nostalgia for Brazil.
