He made his profession in 1866. He had a robust and bulky body. He took for himself the heaviest works, and he endured in them the whole day.
His prayer was ceaseless on his lips. He used an interjection that he himself made up from his name (Amadio = Love God), “Love God and do not fail”. “Do good and let others babble”. [Ama Dio e non fallire. Fa il bene e lascia dire.). He died in the house of S. Maria del Giglio.
