As a young boy he entered the Congregation at Verona and professed his vows in 1932.

A few months after his ordination, which had been held at the cathedral of Udine, he left for the mission of Yi-shien, in China.

During the eleven years of his ministry in China, he was given many assignments, among which he liked particularly the pastoral visitation of the villages the care for the poorest people. In 1949 he was forced by the Communist Revolution to come back to Italy. He exercised his priestly and religious ministry in Gemona, until 1952 when he left for Thailand.

For many years he was a parish priest at Phuket and the Principal of our school Dow Roong (Stella Matutina), to which he dedicated himself with enthusiasm.

Then he went to Ranong, where he built the new school. It was there that a long period of suffering started for him, when he broke his leg. In 1988 he returned to Italy to celebrate his 50th anniversary of priesthood and in October of that same year he was back to Thailand. He resided in our seminary of Sampran, where he was spiritual director of the seminarians.

Fr Marc dedicated all his life to the mission. He had a strong character but he was also a man of great heart. He was very much devoted to Our Lady and he left behind a witness of exemplary religious life.
