He frequented the oratory where he got his religious education and eventually he became its director later on. He was a good and well prepared catechist, very successful in his apostolate especially in the rural chapels. When he lost his father he started working to support his family. He heard God’s calling at the age of 20 and entered our Congregation.
At Ituiutaba he was the formator of the brothers. He was gentle and reliable. He could easily comfort people with his kind words. He cared after his own spiritual life and very devoted to prayer. He spent the last years of his life in Campinas.
