He worked very much for the education of youth in the schools and the Oratories. His preaching was full of warmth and effect. For this he received the title of “Apostolic Missionary”. He was the first superior of the Udine College and after that also of the community of Milan (Santa Croce).
During the last years of life he was rector of the church of St Peter the Martyr in Udine, where he was much appreciated for spiritual direction.
